A seminar on “Development On Export & Import” on 3rd March 2016 was organized by Ahmedabad Export Import Development Association (AEIDA).

Small business persons can form start-ups, and with some support from government, can become entrepreneurs,” she added that the Centre attaches immense importance to innovation government support to provide a launch-pad for start-ups. She had stated that Gujarat has been a leader in Export and Import wherein there has been still requirement of developing the same, as there the international business relates with constant international market impacts and other factors.
She informed the Basics of exports, procedures, documentation and marketing. She guided the entrepreneurs on the norms to follow in establishing a new export oriented business and the prerequisites such as Registration of a firm, opening of a current account in any nationalized banks, PAN number, IE Code, RCMC with the Council and the documentation involved. She also highlighted the recent schemes of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015- 2020, she also narrated issues pertaining to MSME Exporters face, and suggested the relevant measures to overcome the related issues relating to Export and Imports.
