Ahmedabad Export Import Development Association (AEIDA) Hutchison Ports SoharOman jointly hold a seminar for Ahmedabad Business Houses and Entrepreneurs On 11th November 2019 at Ahmedabad and Mumbai on 13th November.

The Seminar highlighted business advantage as a gateway for Ahmedabad-based entrepreneurs to reach out Opportunities in Oman.

Ahmedabad, 11th November, 2019– TheAhmedabad Export Import Development Association (AEIDA)held a business seminar in the city today with an aim to raise the awareness among local entrepreneurs and businessmen about Oman being an excellent platform to expand their business globally.

The seminar apprised the city’sBusiness & Trade fraternity and entrepreneursabout Oman business advantage as a gateway for businesses to reach out to entire Gulf. and other international markets via Sohar Oman. The bilateral trade has clocked has the fast growing with India. India is one of the of  the largest trading partner of Oman with bilateral trade of around US$6.71 billion in 2017-18, at an impressive increase of 67% over 2016-17 from US$4 billion , this figures are excluding the Oil & petroleum. Thus  its a clear indication of the strong growing trade ties between the two countries.

Addressing the local business houses in Ahmedabad Mr.AnachinKumCEO, Hutchison Ports Sohar Oman. said, “India and Oman have a long and close business relationship. While India will continue to take the lead in regional economic growth, the Oman can hub for Indian enterprises to expand their market globally..We are excited to offer SMEs and entrepreneurs in Ahmedabad to grow their business exponentially.”

Ahmedabad Export Import Development Association had organized seminar on “How to become successful entrepreneur” on 9th Nov, 2017 at Mehsana.

In which eminent speakers Dr. Ashish Joshi, PDPU University talked about new innovative of Business for Entrepreneurs and Mr. Jatin Chaudhary, co-founder, E-Chai shared about ideas and process of implementation Mr. Purvin Mairianayani, President, Ahmedabad Export Import Development Association thanked the speakers and the guest talked about important of entrepreneurship which makes today’s Youth self employees and also provided information about Govt. Policies support and schemes for entrepreneurship development.

The main objective of this seminar was to inform the small businessmen and new entrepreneurs about how to develop and grow their business and help them from the government.

A seminar on “Development On Export & Import” on 3rd March 2016 was organized by Ahmedabad Export Import Development Association (AEIDA).

Bhagyesh Soneji , Chairperson of the Gujarat Council of Assocham. Ahmedabad, spoke on the objective of doing exports. Today is the age of start-ups. Small business persons can form start-ups, and with some support from government, can become entrepreneurs,” she added that the Centre attaches immense importance to innovation government support to provide a launch-pad for start-ups. She had stated that Gujarat has been a leader in Export and Import wherein there has been still requirement of developing the same, as there the international business relates with constant international market impacts and other factors.

She informed the Basics of exports, procedures, documentation and marketing. She guided the entrepreneurs on the norms to follow in establishing a new export oriented business and the prerequisites such as Registration of a firm, opening of a current account in any nationalized banks, PAN number, IE Code, RCMC with the Council and the documentation involved. She also highlighted the recent schemes of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015- 2020, she also narrated issues pertaining to MSME Exporters face, and suggested the relevant measures to overcome the related issues relating to Export and Imports.

A seminar on “Export Development” on 15th March 2016 was organized by the Ahmedabad Export Import Development Association (AEIDA) .

In his presentation, Shri Purvin Mariyankari , elaborated on the procedure of in exports. He described all the processes through power point presentation.
Shri Mariyankari , also gave a brief description on the incentives being offered to the exporters under Niryat Sandhu Scheme. He asked exporters to take benefit of the schemes under the policy 2015-20.
He told the exporters to take part in events and seminars organized by the export organization on various subjects to keep themselves abreast with new developments.

A seminar on “Software Services – Innovation of Information Technology – Development On Export & Import” on 24th March 2016 was organized by the Ahmedabad Export Import Development Association (AEIDA) .

AEIDA Committee members had an Interactive session with Young new entrepreneurs as its event at as part of its series of developing and training new entrepreneurs. Our guest speaker Dr. Samir Gopalan I.T. Expert, and eminent speaker from Indus University showed with Presentation and highlighted on various activities and role of Information and Technology. It has brought up with a vital revolution in the entire business which is towards an upward trend. Information and technology enables in the development of the young entrepreneurs whereby business can be done with ease.

He invited the members for Networking and for B to B Meetings in May. The talk has been very fruitful and the Team look forward for further ties with them for business trade empowerment.
